Communication Counts
Spoken words are only one way to communicate. The series makes room for gestures, facial expressions, AAC, movement, pointing, and all the ways a child can make herself understood.
The heart behind the stories
The Adventures of Peyton is inspired by the real experiences, personality, growth, sensory needs, communication, and everyday adventures of a real little girl.
The goal is simple: help autistic children feel represented while giving other children a warm, relatable way to understand differences, ask questions, and practice kindness.
